The OECD WISE Centre launched its report Spending Better for Children through Social Policy, which examines how countries can strengthen the value for money of social policies – improving child well-being while supporting the long-term sustainability of public finances. Drawing on new cross-country evidence, the report identifies policy approaches that are most effective in reducing child poverty and improving educational and health outcomes.
