The objective of this event, organised as part of the Dubrovnik Forum, was to explore how firms in South East Europe are responding to geopolitical tensions and discuss the policy frameworks that can support the adoption of green and digital practices, while strengthening firms’ competitiveness within the framework of the EU Single Market.
The event marked the official launch of the Western Balkans Enterprise Survey: Navigating the Digital and Green Transition report. To set the stage for the panel discussions, the OECD presented the key findings of the survey conducted in 2025 among more than 800 enterprises across the Western Balkans. The survey assesses firms' readiness to adopt digital technologies, the barriers they face, and their progress and challenges in advancing resource efficiency and decarbonisation.
