On 4 December 2025, the OECD, jointly with the Secretariat of the Just Energy Transition Partnership (JETP) of Indonesia, hosted a full-day, in-person workshop in Jakarta, focused on guarantees and insurance instruments for clean energy in Indonesia. In the morning, the workshop was dedicated to knowledge-sharing and match-making on guarantee instruments for small-scale renewable power projects, whereas the afternoon focused on energy efficiency.
Objectives:
- Showcasing current clean energy projects that are seeking financing.
- Facilitating matchmaking between project developers, guarantee providers, ESCOs and financial institutions.
- Contributing to the creation and development of bankable project pipelines.
- Identifying next steps for piloting projects with de-risking instruments.
