The International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), in collaboration with the Ministry of Economy and Finance of Uruguay, held a joint high-level conference on Making Reforms Happen in Latin America. The conference explored how to accelerate structural reforms to boost growth in Latin America. The event brought together senior policymakers from across the region, leading academics and practitioners, and representatives of the World Bank and the Inter-American Development Bank to identify concrete solutions to structural bottlenecks and share experiences on reform implementation.
