09:30–11:00: Panel 1 – Identification of needs and outreach
This session focused on how cities and their partners can better identify the needs of people with a migrant background, including through effective outreach. Particular attention was given to assessing education and training needs.
11:10–12:00: Panel 2 – Working together for migrant inclusion
This session examined how collaboration across levels of government, sectors, financial institutions and civil society can strengthen migrant inclusion and growth, with a particular focus on the labour market. It showcased successful coordination approaches, and the very discussion took place in the back-to-back “implementation labs”
12:00–13:45: Implementation labs (Working lunch)
Participants were divided into mixed groups, bringing together people from different organisations and sectors. Each group worked on a practical scenario focused on implementing a local integration project. This hands-on format was designed to support networking, discussion, and problem-solving.
13:45–15:15 Panel 3 – Financing solutions
This session examined how cities and their partners can design and mobilise financing strategies to support the long-term inclusion of migrants, with a focus on housing policies. Speakers presented innovative funding models, financial instruments, and governance arrangements that enable strategic investment used to overcome local budgetary constraints.

15:30–17:00: Panel 4 – Evaluation and impact
The final session focused on how cities monitor and evaluate integration outcomes and adapt policies based on evidence. Drawing on examples from climate action and public services, it highlighted practical tools and feedback mechanisms that improve policy effectiveness and ensure continuous, responsive growth.
