By examining the successes and challenges encountered, participants will gain insights into effective strategies for managing complex post-conflict returns and long-term reintegration.

This session will examine the longer-term reintegration challenges that returnees have faced over the last decades, including sustaining employment, housing stability, and addressing residual community tensions. It will highlight the roles of civil society, diaspora organisations, and international stakeholders in supporting reintegration over time and different programmes and measures that have been put in place.
