This event launches the Arabic translation of the 2023 Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises on Responsible Business Conduct and presents how it can support businesses in Egypt in becoming more sustainable. Discover new approaches, frameworks, and tools to enhance sustainability practices and prepare for regulation in key export markets. You can also practice how to make business more responsible in the scenarios workshop during the pre-event on January 15 from 11:00 to 13:00 in the same location (choose this module when registering).

Businesses and business associations, chambers and unions operating in Egypt, including sustainability experts, due diligence professionals, purchasing departments, legal experts, and any representative from business interested in sustainability; government officials tasked with designing and implementing public policies related to responsible business conduct; representatives from citizens’ initiatives, workers associations and civil society focusing on sustainability and business; and international organisations and development partners engaged in sustainability across Egypt.
