#whatisHOME is a Europe-wide campaign focusing on the reasons behind migration. It aims to create a broader understanding of why people move from one place to another and how the lack of sustainable development forces some people to do so.
Caritas’ social media campaign #whatishome equally focuses on the contributions migrants make in both their countries of origin and destination by sharing stories and information that showcases the impact migrants have on personal and professional lives, society, culture and many other aspects of everyday life.
The campaign website was produced in the framework of the MIND project, which has received the financial support of the DEAR Programme of the European Union. In this way, the European initiative contributes to achieving higher levels of acceptance and tolerance towards migrants in Europe.
