The OECD informed several workstreams and initiatives under Brazil’s 2024 G20 Presidency. These included the Global Alliance Against Hunger and Poverty, which was launched by G20 Leaders at the 2024 Rio de Janeiro Summit. As a member of its Board of Champions, the OECD continues to leverage its data and policy recommendations to support the Global Alliance’s efforts to tackle hunger and poverty worldwide.
In the Finance Track, the OECD led a report on mainstreaming climate resilience considerations in infrastructure and regularly updated G20 Members on progress on the Two-Pillar Solution. On trade, the OECD supported work on women's role in global value chains, emphasising their contribution to boosting competitiveness and driving economic growth. We also leveraged the OECD’s Teaching and Learning International Survey (TALIS) to advance efforts to build teacher capacity, and informed key debates on digital public infrastructure.
