The OECD will release a new Space Economy at a Glance 2026 report on 9 September at 11:00 CEST, coinciding with the International Space Summit taking place in Paris on 9-10 September.
Space Economy at a Glance 2026 will provide a concise and comparative overview of recent developments across countries and value chains and highlights current trends and challenges. It shows how governments remain central to market creation and strategic capability-building, even as commercial actors increasingly operate and shape orbital activity.
The report is complemented by country profiles of selected OECD Space Forum members (Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Korea, the Netherlands, Norway, Switzerland, the United Kingdom and the United States), analysing their space economies, policy priorities and institutional arrangements.
