OECD will release the Inventory of Export Restrictions on Industrial Raw Materials 2025: Monitoring the use of export restrictions amid growing market and policy tensions on Monday 12 May at 11:00 CEST.
The inventory provides annually updated data on the scope, type, and evolution of export restrictions across 65 industrial commodities and 82 producing countries. The 2025 edition covers data through the end of 2023 and aims to support understanding of whether and how export restrictions contribute to raw material shortages and price increases — as well as how policy responses may ease tensions and help ensure the secure and efficient supply of critical materials.
