This paper presents the results of the OECD’s standards-only alignment assessment of the OEKO-TEX Responsible Business Standard’s written standards and policies against the recommendations set out in the OECD Due Diligence Guidance for Responsible Supply Chains in the Garment and Footwear Sector. The paper is part of a series of pilot alignment assessments carried out by the OECD to evaluate the extent to which sustainability initiatives are aligned with the recommendations of relevant OECD due diligence guidance and associated governance criteria, consistent with priorities identified in the 2023 OECD RBC Ministerial Declaration on Promoting and Enabling Responsible Business Conduct in the Global Economy.
