Designing more effective active labour market policies is a challenge faced by many countries. To help inform the design of future employment services in Italy, the OECD – in cooperation with the European Commission's Reform and Investment Task Force (SG REFORM) – has been supporting the development of a new system of contracted-out employment services in Italy. This workshop will provide lessons from the final report relevant for policymakers in other EU and OECD countries. It will also invite international experts and participants to reflect on their own experiences in addressing similar types of challenges.
The project was funded by the European Union via the Technical Support Instrument, and implemented by the OECD, in cooperation with the European Commission.
