Harmonising micro-credential systems

Micro-credentials are expanding rapidly across higher education, vocational education and training, and adult learning. As countries seek to make these learning opportunities more transparent, trusted and accessible, there is growing interest in creating more harmonised approaches that support quality, recognition and learner progression across sectors. This webinar will launch the OECD report From Fragmentation to Alignment: An International Review of Micro-Credential Systems and showcase international examples of countries where micro-credentials are offered across multiple education and training sectors. Speakers will discuss the policies, frameworks and partnerships that help create coherent micro-credential systems and explore lessons for strengthening lifelong learning and skills development.
