This event will mark the launch of the new joint EC/OECD report, Social Economy in Europe: Contributing to Competitiveness and Prosperity, which supports the implementation of EU priorities for the social economy. It will showcase the pathways through which social economy entities deliver care services and housing solutions. The discussion will also center around three critical framework conditions that underpin the development of the social economy: institutional arrangements at various levels of government, taxation, and business support mechanisms.
The report offers new insights, country examples, and practical, action-oriented recommendations to help create policy environments where social economy entities can innovate, grow, and drive positive change.
