Joining forces against gender-based violence: Cross-policy pathways to prevention and support

On the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, the OECD will host a webinar to explore integrated, cross-policy solutions to prevent and address gender-based violence (GBV) more effectively. Drawing on new evidence from the OECD report Gender Equality in a Changing World, the discussion will examine the pervasive nature of GBV and how co-ordinated action across sectors can strengthen prevention, protection and survivor support.

The event will bring together perspectives from policy, research and frontline services, featuring interventions by Monika Queisser (OECD), Núria Rodríguez-Planas (Queens College, CUNY/University of Barcelona) and Emma Armstrong (I Choose Freedom), among others.
