Join us for the launch of Fast-tracking Net Zero by Building Climate and Economic Resilience: A Summary for Policymakers, the concluding report of Phase II of the OECD Horizontal Project on Climate and Economic Resilience (Net Zero+).
This event, opened by Secretary-General Mathias Cormann, will take place on 27 May from 14:00 to 15:15 in the Auditorium at the La Muette Conference Centre and will be livestreamed online.
Drawing on the full breadth of OECD work on climate across committees and bodies, the report shows that reaching net zero is still possible but requires urgent and ambitious action. It also highlights the importance of public support, trade, investment and finance, climate adaptation and bridging knowledge gaps to improve the effectiveness of climate policies.
In addition, key messages of the forthcoming report Investing in Climate for Growth and Development: The Case for Enhanced NDCs, to be launched on 10 June, will be presented.
