The EPIC secretariat is pleased to announce that during the United Nations Commission on the Status of Women (CSW), EPIC will host a side-event titled ‘Equal pay for work of equal value: Unlocking women's potential across the life cycle’.
The side event will be an opportunity to:
• Explore how to strengthen equal opportunities for (young) men and women to access, remain and progress in decent work.
• Explore how to expand equal opportunities for (young) men and women in high-earning sectors and break occupational segregation.
• Learn from government and social partners about their support to equal pay for work of equal value.
• Strengthen global, regional and national commitments to pay equity, as well as broaden EPIC membership.
The event will be held in English only.
