The workshop brings together the statistical units of the Spanish Ministry of Labour, Migration and Social Security (MITRAMISS) and experts from other EU countries and organisations. It provides an opportunity for the statistical units in the MITRAMISS to learn from good practices in the management of register data and the production of statistics in other EU countries. The workshop involves presentations from other countries/organisations with a strong focus on implementation and practical aspects, such as how these organisations have addressed specific issues, which models they applied, what were the challenges, lessons learnt, etc.
The workshop will focus on the following topics (ordered by priority):
1. Models and tools to make administrative data accessible within the organisation and facilitate linking datasets (Data Warehouses and BI tools, cloud storage and web services).
2. Solutions that support sharing microdata also externally, additional measures needed for that.
3. Efficient and user-friendly tools to disseminate large statistical outputs 4. Automation of statistical production.
This workshop is organised in cooperation with Structural Reform Support Service and the Spanish Ministry of Labour, Migration and Social Security.
