Unemployment rates by education level refer to the proportion of unemployed individuals within the labour force, classified by their highest level of educational attainment.
Unemployed individuals are defined as those who are not in employment, are actively seeking work, and are currently available to start a job. Education levels are categorised as below upper secondary, upper secondary non-tertiary, and tertiary education.
This indicator is measured as a percentage of unemployed 25–64 year-olds among 25–64 year-olds in the labour force.
