Indigenous territorial governance for sustainable development: Experiences from Costa Rica, Chile and Canada Webinar

This webinar explored how governments and Indigenous institutions worked together to govern Indigenous territories and advance sustainable territorial development. Through the experiences of Canada, Chile, and Costa Rica, it examined practical approaches to territorial governance, including the recognition and administration of Indigenous lands, shared decision-making and institutional responsibilities, mechanisms for coordination between Indigenous authorities and government agencies, and the implementation of territorial planning and land recovery.
