The OECD and FAO will present the Agricultural Outlook 2026-2035, their joint annual medium-term market projections for major agricultural commodities, biofuels and fish, on Monday 29 June at 11:15 CEST (09:15 UTC).
The OECD-FAO Agricultural Outlook 2026-2035 provides a comprehensive assessment of the prospects of national, regional and global agricultural commodity markets over the coming decade. It includes the baseline projections for production, consumption, stocks, trade, and prices for cereals, oilseeds and oilseed products, roots & tubers, pulses, sugar, meat, dairy products, fish, cotton, biofuels and tropical fruits. This year’s edition examines the evolving landscape of global agriculture in the face of economic, societal and environmental challenges, including a scenario analysis on the possible impacts of the conflict in the Middle East on the agrifood outlook.
OECD Secretary-General Mathias Cormann and FAO Director-General QU Dongyu will present the report at 11:15 CEST (09:15 UTC) on Monday 29 June at a launch event hosted by Jochem Wiers, Ambassador of the Netherlands to the OECD.
