Three new OECD reports – Shrinking Smartly and Sustainably, Reinforcing Rural Resilience and Place-Based Policies for the Future – will be presented at the 2025 Ministerial Meeting on Regional Development, taking place in Warsaw, Poland on 19–20 May.
New climate-related data will also be unveiled as part of the OECD Local Data Portal, a tool featuring 100s of indicators across 10 domains comparing subnational performance.
The Ministerial Meeting will bring together OECD Secretary-General Mathias Cormann, ministers, and senior officials from over 40 OECD member and partner countries to address how regional policy can drive productivity and resilience in an era of shocks and transitions.
Journalists are invited to register here to attend in-person in Warsaw or follow live the opening session and press conference on Monday 19 May, from 18:00 to 18:30 (CEST).
