Pourtant, ce secteur reste à bien des égards moins bien mesuré et compris que d'autres. Cette publication présente des statistiques annuelles de comptabilité nationale portant sur la valeur ajoutée brute et l'emploi dans les activités de services pour tous les pays Membres de l'OCDE*. Les données sont fournies au niveau le plus fin disponible à l'OCDE et proviennent des sources nationales. Cette publication a pour objet de fournir aux analystes des séries (pour la période 1988-1998) contenant des informations sur l'évolution du secteur des services et de permettre aux statisticiens d'améliorer la comparabilité de ces données.
