15/05/2013 - The OECD will present its latest work on achieving sustainable transportation during the International Transport Forum’s annual Summit on Wednesday 22 May 2013 in Leipzig, Germany.
OECD Secretary General Angel Gurría will launch a new report, “Mobilising Private Investment in Sustainable Transport: The Case of Land-based Passenger Transport Infrastructure,” during a news conference starting at 15:30, at the Congress Center Leipzig, Messe-Allee 1, 04356 Leipzig.
Also on May 22, Mr Gurría will deliver a keynote speech during the ITF Summit’s opening plenary session and will discuss measures to attract new sources of private finance to transport infrastructure projects during a ministerial round table.
The report will be freely accessible in pdf format on the OECD’s web site from 15:00 on 22 May. A summary will be available at http://www.oecd.org/env/cc/financing-transport-brochure.pdf. Journalists are invited to include this Internet link in stories about the report.
