Colette Morris joined the OECD in 2017 as Advisor to the Chief of Staff within the Office of the Secretary-General and joined the Office of the Executive Director in 2019 as Senior Counsellor. Since May 2022, Colette has been Head of Strategic Management and Co-ordination in the Office of the Executive Director.
Before joining the OECD, Colette held several progressively more senior roles in the UK and Australian Governments, including as Head of Financial Sanctions and Counter-Terrorist Financing Policy with the UK HM Treasury, Head of the UK G7/20 Sherpa Office in the UK Government Cabinet Office and Director of G20 Trade Policy with the Australian Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet.
A dual United Kingdom and French national, Colette has a Bachelor's degree in French and Italian Studies from the University of Warwick and a non-degree programme in Economics from the London School of Economics and Political Science. She is fluent in both French and English and speaks Italian.
