Regional FDI-SME linkage strategies in Kazakhstan - 2011/2015

This project examines how policies can support the integration of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) into global value chains through creating and exploiting linkages between SMEs and Foreign Direct Investors (FDI). It involves assessments of current conditions and opportunities in three regions of Kazakhstan and makes recommendations for policy actions at national and local levels.

Kazakhstan should complete the reform of its criminal legislation in order to comply with international standards and strengthen integrity in the public administration, according to a new report by the Istanbul Anti-Corruption Action Plan (IAP).

OECD/EAP Task Force Contributes to the 7th "Environment for Europe" Ministerial Conference

7th “Environment for Europe” Ministerial Conference took place in Astana (Kazakhstan) on 21-23 September 2011. Two main themes: sustainable management of water and water-related ecosystems and greening the economy: mainstreaming the environment into economic development.
