The OECD welcomes the announcement today of a package of measures between Liechtenstein and the United Kingdom intended to ensure effective exchange of information for tax purposes between the two countries and to address the important issue of undeclared funds in a cooperative way.

Liechtenstein's Declaration - the commitment
In the light of recent political commitments made by Andorra, Liechtenstein and Monaco to implement the OECD standards of transparency and effective exchange of information and the timetable set for the implementation, the OECD’s Committee on Fiscal Affairs has decided to remove all three jurisdictions from its List of Uncooperative Tax Havens.
Moves by a number of financial centres over recent weeks in favour of transparency and exchange of information on tax matters have given a welcome boost to efforts counter international tax evasion, OECD Secretary-General Angel Gurría said.
