The OECD regularly seeks candidates to meet specific needs on a short-term basis.
The following information is in summarised form intended for general guidance only.
Typically, temporary staff are offered an initial appointment of 3 to 6 months, with the possibility of a renewal.
The employment conditions in force for temporary staff are detailed in the Regulations, Rules and Instructions applicable to Temporary Staff.
The basic salary is specified in the offer letter and is payable in euros.
Please bear in mind that the remuneration for temporary staff is taxable. Moreover, please note that a deduction of approximately of 16% of salary is made for different social contributions (illness, invalidity, pension, etc.).
Annual leave and holidays
Annual leave amounts to two and a half working days for each month of full-time service. Working days (8 hours per day) are Monday to Friday inclusive, and French public holidays are observed.
