Mr. Angel Gurría, Secretary-General of the OECD, was in London on 23-24 February 2015 to present the 2015 OECD Economic Survey of the United Kingdom, alongside Mr. George Osborne, Chancellor of the Exchequer.
The Secretary-General also held a bilateral meeting with the Chancellor, as well as with Mr. Hugo Swire, Minister of State at the Foreign and Commonwealth Office, Mr. Vince Cable, Secretary of State for Business, Innovation and Skills, Mr. Edward Davey, Secretary of State for Energy and Climate Change and with Ms. Frances O’Grady, Leader of the British Trade Union Congress.
While in London, Mr. Angel Gurría also delivered keynote speeches at the Opening of the Global Law Summit on Bringing International Law into the 21st Century, at the Golden Series Lecture of the Official Monetary and Financial Institutions Forum (OMFIF) on Unleashing global investment for stronger, fairer and greener growth and to the All Party Group on Inclusive Growth.
