OECD Secretary-General Angel Gurría welcomed the introduction into the UK Parliament of a new Bribery Bill

23/11/2009 - "The OECD is pleased to see the commitment being made by the UK government to the fight against foreign bribery,” Mr Gurría said.

“Foreign bribery distorts governance, economic development and the level playing field for international competition. The early passage of this bill is essential to secure the credibility of the UK legal framework to fight bribery.”
