Effective Carbon Rates 2018 releases Tuesday 18 September

 

11/09/2018 - Carbon pricing is a vital tool for keeping climate change in check while also improving air and water quality. The 2018 edition of Effective Carbon Rates 2018: Pricing Carbon Emissions through Taxes and Emissions Trading examines progress since 2012 in setting taxes and tradeable permits for carbon emissions in 42 OECD and G20 countries accounting for around 80% of global emissions.

Tuesday 18 September at 11:00 am, followed by a 16:00 Webinar

 

The report will be released at 11:00 Paris time on Tuesday 18 September. Journalists are invited to join a one-hour webinar at 16:00 Paris time the same day where experts from the OECD’s Centre for Tax Policy and Statistics will present the report’s findings and answer questions.
