During his third official visit to the People's Republic of China, Angel Gurría attended the International Ministerial Conference on Nuclear Energy in the 21st Century.

 

During the conference, Mr. Gurría gave a joint press conference with Wang Yiren, Secretary General of the China Atomic Energy Authority and Dr. Mohamed Mostafa El-Baradei, Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency. He also met with Dr. Byong Man Ahn, Minister of Education, Science and Technology of Korea.

 

During his official visit Mr. Gurría met with:

• Zhang Guobao, Vice Chairman of the National Development and Reform Commission and Chief Officer of the National Energy Administration; 
• Mr. Li Yong, Vice Minister of Finance;
• Mr. He Yafei, Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs.
