Media advisory - OECD Economic Survey of Peru 2023

The OECD will release its first Economic Survey of Peru on Wednesday 27 September. The Survey examines the Peruvian economy’s performance in the face of global and domestic challenges and discusses areas such as investment, productivity, and the green transition. Two in-depth chapters look more closely at ways to boost long-term growth and expand social protection to accelerate convergence of growth and living standards with OECD levels.


OECD Secretary-General Mathias Cormann
will present the Survey’s key findings and recommendations, and take questions, alongside Peru’s President of the Council of Ministers, Prime Minister, Mr. Alberto Otárola from 11:15 to 11:45 UTC-5 on Wednesday 27 September at the Government Palace in Lima, Túpac Hall. The event will take place in English with simultaneous interpretation.
