Presentation and press conference at 13:15 in Prague
The OECD will present its latest Economic Survey of the Czech Republic on Thursday 30 March. The Survey examines the Czech Republic’s economic performance in the face of recent global challenges and makes policy and structural reform recommendations to strengthen and sustain the recovery. A special chapter takes an in-depth look at the country’s efforts to bring down greenhouse gas emissions and discusses ways to accelerate and smooth the path to a net zero economy.
An OECD Public Governance Review of the Czech Republic, to be released at the same time, examines the country’s public administration and governance and discusses how public policies and services could be made more effective and efficient.
OECD Secretary-General Mathias Cormann will present findings and recommendations from both reports alongside Prime Minister Petr Fiala, and take questions from the media, from 13:15 to 14:00 at the Office of the Government of the Czech Republic (nábřeží Edvarda Beneše 128/4, Prague 1.)
