18/02/2022 - The OECD will present a new Economic Survey of Mexico on Monday 21 February. The Survey examines the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on Mexico’s economy and challenges ahead. It discusses how Mexico could reinforce its macroeconomic policies and reforms that could lift investment and increase productivity. A special chapter takes an in-depth look at how expanding access to finance could boost growth and improve equality of opportunities.
OECD Secretary-General Mathias Cormann will present the Survey’s main findings in an online presentation alongside Mexican Minister of Finance Rogelio Ramírez de la O starting at 10:00 Mexico City time on Monday 21 February. The presentation will take place in English and Spanish with interpretation.
Working with over 100 countries, the OECD is a global policy forum that promotes policies to preserve individual liberty and improve the economic and social well-being of people around the world.
