Exiting and Learning from the Covid-19 Pandemic - Michael Spence

Nobel Laureate A. Michael Spence discussed the exit and restoration of “normal” economic activity, specifically the close alignment between good health outcomes (containment) and speeding up the recovery. Professor Spence also discussed what appears to be large differences in performance across countries and jurisdictions in containing the virus. Finally, he looked at post pandemic recovery and longer term changes.
