Project HELIOS – Hellenic Ministry of Migration & Asylum
“HELIOS” (Hellenic Integration Support for Beneficiaries of International Protection) is a project that promotes fosters the self-sufficiency of beneficiaries of international protection in Greece through a series of educative communication campaigns. Since the project launch in July 2019, it addresses the key information needs of beneficiaries of international protection and their families and helps them better understand public services such as housing support or integration courses and professional training. In order to improve beneficiaries’ access to the labour market, the HELIOS project organizes career days and successfully distributes information material regarding public services and counselling provided to help beneficiaries find employment in Greece. The HELIOS project is operated by the International Organization for Migration (IOM) and funded by the Hellenic Ministry of Migration and Asylum. All incoming and present beneficiaries of international protection are continuously informed about the relevant activities of the HELIOS project through regular newsletters as well as factsheets. For more information on the HELIOS project and its activities, please visit migration.gov.gr/newsletters-helios. |
