Chile - Cultura Migraciones
Cultura Migraciones is an initiative of the Chilean National Migration Service (SERMIG) aimed at the integration and inclusion of migrants in Chileans cultural and art life, promoting interculturality and participation.
In the context of this initiative, SERMIG is operating a variety of programs on an ongoing basis, including the organization of intercultural festivals, art shows, cultural mediation activities and the publication of socio-historical research on cultural diversity and history.
One important approach of the initiative consists in the systematic cooperation with embassies, ministries, municipalities, NGOs, educational and private institutions, allowing to reach a diversity of different target audiences and local communities across regions. |
