Mr. Angel Gurría, Secretary-General of the OECD, participated in the international event Tijuana Innovadora 2020: Tijuana is the Future, on 7 October 2020. The Secretary-General took part in the panel on Economy with Ms. Alicia Bárcena, Executive Secretary of ECLAC, and with Ms. Rebeca Grynspan, Secretary-General of the SEGIB. During the panel, he delivered introductory remarks and held a dialogue with the panellists on the economic impact of the COVID-19 in Latin America, the geo-political and geo-economic advantages of the Cali-Baja region, and the future of economies.
