Mr. Angel Gurría, Secretary-General of the OECD, was in Tokyo on an official visit from 11 to 13 April 2018. He held bilateral meetings with Prime Minister Abe as well as with several Ministers and high level Japanese officials.

While in Tokyo, the Secretary-General presented, at a Press conference, the OECD Publication Better Policies Series - Japan: Promoting inclusive growth for an ageing society, delivered keynote remarks at the OECD-Keidanren-BIAC-JCER Joint Seminar on the Digital Economy, at a Seminar on Promoting Quality Infrastructure, and at the Third Patient Safety Summit.
