This expert meeting invited participants to share their knowledge and to discuss the diversity of issues which relate to gender, ICT and education. The discussion, based on a background paper, in particular focused on the gender issue and how it relates to ICT and education, the educational and political implications of the gendered use and attitude towards ICT, and future orientations for educational and social research in this area.
