The Observatory of Public Sector Innovation aims to systematically collect, categorise, analyse and share innovative practices from across the public sector, via an online interactive database.
On 29-30 October 2013, the OECD and the Swiss Federal IT Steering Unit (FITSU) are inviting government technology leaders to Bern, Switzerland, in order to advance the global policy agenda on ICT Governance to deliver Public Value.

E-leaders from 20 OECD and partnering countries gathered on 26-27 March in Mexico City for the 2012 E-Leaders Meeting "New ICT solutions for Public Sector Agility".
25 delegates from 16 countries, and a representative from the European Commission participated in the first meeting of the Observatory’s Task Force. The meeting provided a valuable opportunity to discuss the strategic directions and initial activities of the Observatory. At the end of the meeting, Task Force members supported the nomination of Canada and France as Co-chairs of the Task Force.
