The OECD Public Integrity Indicators (OECD PII) establish a new OECD benchmark for government resilience to corruption risks and for strengthening public integrity. Based on primary data sources and validated by governments, the OECD PII will help bolster global efforts against corruption.

This event will launch the Portal that will host the indicators with a wealth of data on the maturity of countries’ anti-corruption strategies, how accountable the policy making process is, how strong are government audit practices and much more. This event will also provide the opportunity to discuss a renewed approach to fighting corruption and promoting integrity with a blueprint based on objective and actionable indicators.

This event will also mark the launch of the 2021 Anti-Bribery Recommendation. The 2021 Recommendation for Further Combating Bribery of Foreign Public Officials in International Business Transactions (the 2021 Anti-Bribery Recommendation) was adopted by the OECD Council on 26 November 2021. With this Recommendation, the Parties to the Anti-Bribery Convention agree to put in place new measures to reinforce their efforts to prevent, detect and investigate foreign bribery.
