CONTEXT The OECD policy paper “Delivering for youth: How governments can put young people at the centre of the recovery” compiles the views of youth organisations from 72 countries on their experiences through the COVID-19 crisis and related government action, and analyses all publicly available national response and recovery plans across OECD countries. The paper was launched with a high-level panel of policymakers, members of youth organisations, and Youthwise (the OECD’s Youth Advisory Board) to discuss the main findings of the policy paper, including the impacts of COVID-19 on young people’s trust in government and satisfaction with democracy. Speaker contributions will centre on how governments can strengthen public governance approaches to deliver a fair, inclusive and resilient recovery for young people.
