This newsletter informs about recent activities and publications that are relevant from a policy coherence for sustainable development (PCSD) perspective.
The PCSD Partnership aims provide a forum for exchange of knowledge and expertise among governments, international organisations, civil society, think-tanks, the private sector, and other stakeholders on the policy implications of SDG implementation. It can support governments and stakeholders to strengthen their capacities for enhancing policy coherence for sustainable development, as called for by SDG Target 17.14.
With the adoption of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development as background, this meeting will provide an important opportunity to discuss the challenges and opportunities of SDG implementation. We will discuss how to draw on and adapt current PCD mechanisms to mobilise the whole government and enhance policy coherence for sustainable development in implementing the SDGs.
