How does policy shape trade and investment in renewable energy and other environmental goods and services in the context of global value chains

This workshop brought together public and private sector stakeholders to discuss policy barriers and drivers shaping trade and investment in renewable energy and other environmental goods and services in the context of global value chains.

 

Debates at the workshop focused on:

  • Implications of green global value chains on trade and investment policy  

  • Mapping global value chains for environmental goods and services

  • Drivers and policy barriers to trade and investment in renewable energy and other environmental goods and services

 

Key messages from the workshop will contribute to the OECD project on mobilising investment in clean energy infrastructure, as well as OECD work on trade in environmental goods and services.
