On 24 November 2013 Jordan became the 46th country to adhere to the OECD Declaration on International Investment and Multinational Enterprises. This adherence bears witness to the determination that Jordan holds towards strengthening the liberalisation of investment, increasing its integration into the world economy and promoting responsible business conduct. In this context, the OECD supports the Government of Jordan in strengthening the reform implementation capacity for investment policy, promotion and services, both through policy reviews and capacity building workshops. Investment Policy Review of Jordan This report examines Jordan's investment regime and provides recommendations on how, despite the regional unrest and the slow recovery of the global economy strongly affecting economic activities, the authorities can implement structural reform to make the country a more attractive investment destination and to support development.
