Mr. François Hurel

François Hurel is one of the main experts on the theme of entrepreneurship in France and in Europe. He is the General Manager of the “Agence Pour la Création d’Entreprises” (Business start-up agency) and also the General Manager of the National Company of Auditors in France. He has worked as expert for the OECD for 10 years. In October 2003, he was appointed Chairman of the International Forum on Entrepreneurship of the OECD LEED Programme.
He was technical adviser at the Cabinet of Mr. Alain Madelin, Minister of Enterprises and Economic Development and then worked with Mr. Jean Pierre Raffarin, Minister of SME, Trade and Craft between 1993 and 1997.
He is the author of several publications on entrepreneurship and also wrote the report for the French Prime Minister on “The Development of Economic Initiatives and Business Creation” (2002).
