Mr. Angel Gurría, Secretary-General of the OECD, will be in Dubai, UAE, on 10-11 February 2019 to attend the World Government Summit and deliver a keynote speech at the Plenary Session. The Secretary-General will also deliver opening remarks at the OECD Global Platform Governing Future Risks and launch the annual Embracing Innovation in Government report.
Mr. Angel Gurría, Secretary-General of the OECD, was in Bratislava on 5 February 2019 to present the 2019 OECD Economic Survey of the Slovak Republic, alongside Mr. Peter Pellegrini, Prime Minister of the Slovak Republic.
Mr. Angel Gurría, Secretary-General of the OECD, will be in Davos, Switzerland, from 21st to 25th January 2019 to attend the Annual Meeting of the World Economic Forum (WEF).While in Davos, the Secretary-General will participate in several sessions and meet with several government and business leaders attending.
While in Mexico, he presented the Follow up Report on the Recommendations for Mexico’s E-Procurement System (CompraNet) and the Progress Report on the Integrity Review of Mexico.He also delivered speeches to present the IMSS Reports.
In Katowice, the Secretary-General will deliver remarks at the OECD High-Level Side Event New Climate Economy (Climate-Growth Nexus)as well asat the OECD‑UN Environment FI High-Level Side Event (Aligning Finance with the Goals of the Paris Agreement).
Mr. Angel Gurría, Secretary-General of the OECD, will be in Venice, Italy, from 5 to 7 December 2018 to attend the OECD Conference on Unleashing the Transformative Power of Culture and Creativity for Local Development.
Mr. Angel Gurría, Secretary-General of the OECD, will be in Buenos Aires from 29 November to 1 December 2018, to attend the G20 Leaders’ Summit, where he will deliver remarks on future of work and gender as well as on international taxation.
Mr. Angel Gurría, Secretary-General of the OECD, will be in Incheon, Korea, on 26-27 November 2018 to attend the 6th OECD World Forum on Statistics, Knowledge and Policy, where he will deliver a Keynote Address at the Inaugural session.
In Madrid, the Secretary-General will present the 2018 OECD Economic Survey of Spain, alongside Ms. Nadia Calviño, Minister of Economy and Enterprise of Spain. He will also deliver remarks at an event signalling the Accession of Spain to the Global Deal, alongside Ms. Magdalena Valerio, given that the OECD houses the Global Deal’s Support Unit.
Mr. Angel Gurría, Secretary-General of the OECD, will be in Shanghai and Beijing, People’s Republic of China, from 4 to 6 November 2018. In Shanghai, the Secretary-General will attend the First China International Import Expo and deliver remarks in a panel discussion on Trade and Innovation.
